Terms and Conditions of Use
Version 1.1 · Effective date: 16 September 2026 · Last updated: 17 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, software, tools and membership services made available at https://www.looep.com (the “Site”) by the operator of the Looep Tech platform (“Looep”, “Looep Tech”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Please read them carefully before you register, purchase or use anything on the Site.
1. Who We Are and Acceptance of These Terms
1.1 Looep Tech is operated by Wang Yongfei (also written as W. Yongfei), a sole trader operating under the laws of China.
1.2 By creating an account, purchasing a membership or using the Site in any other way, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years old; (b) have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy and Cookies Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy; and (d) are authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organisation you represent.
1.3 If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Site or purchase a membership. Continued use of the Site after we publish an updated version of these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
2. The Service We Provide
2.1 What we provide. Looep Tech is a digital platform that provides AI-assisted media repair and editing tools, together with a member area containing related software, resources and downloads. The current product range focuses on:
- Video restoration and cleaning – removal of unwanted overlays, captions, logos and text from video files you own or are authorised to edit, and repair of common video defects such as blur, noise and compression artefacts.
- Text and object erasure – AI inpainting tools that remove text, captions, stamps and unwanted objects from images and video frames.
- AI image repair and enhancement – restoration, denoising, colour and detail enhancement of photographs and still images.
2.2 How it is delivered. The Service is a digital, intangible product delivered over the internet. Depending on the product, access is provided as downloadable software for Windows, a browser-based tool, a licence key, or member-only downloads and resources. Nothing is shipped or physically delivered. Access is activated on your account once your payment is confirmed.
2.3 AI processing and model disclosure. Some features rely on AI models to restore, repair, enhance or erase elements in the files you submit. The models currently deployed in our tools are: LaMa (Large-Mask Inpainting), which we use for still-image inpainting such as removing watermarks, logos, subtitles and unwanted objects, and STTN (Spatial-Temporal Transformer Network), which we use for video inpainting such as removing watermarks, subtitles and moving objects from video. We disclose the models we use for transparency. We are an independent brand: we do not claim to be, or to be endorsed by, any model provider, and we do not use third-party model names or logos as our own branding. Our tools do not offer text-to-image or text-to-video generation. If we change the models we use, this section will be updated.
2.4 Your own content only. The tools are intended for editing media that you own or that you have documented permission to edit. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the content standards that apply.
2.5 Availability. We aim to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, and features may change or be discontinued. If we permanently discontinue a feature you paid for, Section 7 (Refunds) applies.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
3.1 You must create an account to purchase or access member features. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it up to date.
3.2 You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. Report any unauthorised use to us immediately at support@looep.com.
3.3 Accounts are personal. Sharing, renting, reselling or transferring an account or a licence key to another person is not permitted, and may result in suspension without refund.
4. Membership Plans and Access Period
4.1 We offer membership plans that grant access to our tools and member resources for a defined period (for example a monthly plan, an annual plan, or a lifetime plan). The plans, their benefits and their prices are displayed on the VIP page and at checkout before you pay.
4.2 A membership is access for the stated period, purchased as a subscription. Your access begins when your payment is confirmed and ends when the period ends, unless the subscription renews. Lifetime plans do not expire and are not renewing.
4.3 We may add, change or withdraw plans, benefits and prices at any time. Changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
5. Billing and Payment
5.1 Subscriptions and automatic renewal. Memberships on the Site are sold as subscriptions that renew automatically. When you complete a purchase, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method the amount shown at checkout, and to charge the same amount again at the start of every new billing period stated on the pricing page and at checkout (for example every 30 days, or every 12 months), until you cancel. Each successful renewal extends your membership by the same period. The amount charged at renewal is the amount you agreed to when you subscribed; if we change a price, we tell you before it takes effect and you may cancel before the next renewal. We never store your card details on our servers — they are held by our payment processor under PCI-DSS rules. You can cancel at any time as described in Section 6.
5.2 Prices and currency. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise at checkout, and are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Where tax must be collected, it is calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
5.3 Payment processing and Merchant of Record. Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. Waffo Pancake is the seller of record for your transaction: it handles card data, tax collection and remittance, receipts and refunds. Your card details are entered on Waffo Pancake’s PCI-DSS compliant checkout and are never stored on our servers. By purchasing, you also agree to Waffo’s applicable terms and privacy policy.
5.4 Card statement descriptor. Charges appear on your card statement under a descriptor set by our payment processor, which identifies the store (Looep) and/or Waffo Pancake. If you do not recognise a charge, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank — we can almost always resolve it faster.
5.5 Your responsibilities. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide, and that the billing details you give are accurate. Orders may be declined by our processor or your bank; we are not responsible for a payment method being declined.
6. Cancellation, Expiry and Account Closure
6.1 Cancelling a subscription. You can cancel your subscription at any time by writing to support@looep.com from the email address registered on your account, quoting your order ID or the email used at checkout. Cancellation stops all future renewals: we cancel the subscription with our payment processor so that no further charges are made. Your membership is not cut short — it continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then expires unless you subscribe again. Cancelling does not by itself entitle you to a refund for the current period; refunds are governed by Section 7 and our Refund Policy.
6.2 Expiry. When your membership period ends — including when a cancelled subscription reaches the end of the period you have already paid for — member-only downloads, tools and resources stop being available to your account until you subscribe again. You can check your membership status and expiry date at any time in your account centre on the Site.
6.3 Closing your account. You may ask us to close your account at any time by writing to support@looep.com. Closing your account does not create a right to a refund for any period already purchased, except as set out in Section 7.
6.4 Our right to suspend. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, is used fraudulently, or is used to infringe the rights of others.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 Our full refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms, and are also displayed at checkout by our payment processor.
7.2 In summary:
- 7-day first-purchase guarantee: if this is your first purchase on the Site and you have not used the membership to download or process content, you may request a full refund within 7 days of payment.
- Duplicate or erroneous charge: refunded in full.
- Verified service failure: if a paid feature does not work and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we will refund the affected purchase.
- Statutory rights: where the law of your country of residence gives you a right of withdrawal or refund (for example the 14-day right of withdrawal for EU/UK consumers), those rights are preserved. Where digital content is supplied immediately with your consent, the withdrawal right may end once delivery has begun.
- Not refundable: membership periods that have already been used, and accounts terminated for breaching these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
7.3 Refund requests are handled by our support team; refunds are issued through Waffo Pancake to the original payment method. We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days and to process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days.
8. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks
8.1 If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at support@looep.com with your account email, order or transaction ID and a short description. We will respond within 2 business days and aim to resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.
8.2 Please do not raise a chargeback before contacting us: it is slower for you and, if a chargeback is raised for a membership that was properly delivered, we may suspend the account until the dispute is resolved.
9. Intellectual Property, Licence and AI Output
9.1 Our property. The Site, our software, our tools, our own AI models and processing engines, our trademarks and the Looep Tech brand are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.
9.2 Your licence. When you purchase a membership we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the tools for the period you have paid for, for your own lawful purposes. We sell a licence, not the software itself. You must not copy, resell, sublicense, rent, share, decompile or redistribute our software, licence keys or member downloads.
9.3 Your content. You keep all rights in the files you submit to our tools (“Input”). You grant us a limited licence to process your Input solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your Input or your results (“Output”) to train AI models, and we do not publish your files.
9.4 Your Output. Subject to these Terms and to the Acceptable Use Policy, you own the Output you create from your own Input, and you are responsible for it — including making sure that your use of the Output does not infringe anyone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.
9.5 No professional advice; no guarantee of result. AI processing produces an automated result. Quality depends on the source file, and we do not guarantee a particular outcome. Our tools are not a legal, medical, financial or forensic service and must not be presented to third parties as human professional work.
9.6 Rights complaints. If you believe content processed through the Site infringes your rights, write to support@looep.com with the details and we will investigate and act, including removing content and suspending accounts where appropriate.
10. Acceptable Use
10.1 You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and only on media you own or are authorised to edit. Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms and lists the prohibited categories of content and conduct in full, including child sexual abuse material, non-consensual sexual content, deepfakes and impersonation, hate speech, graphic violence, and the infringement of copyright or trademark rights.
10.2 In particular, you must not use the tools to remove watermarks, copyright notices, rights-management information, DRM or attribution from content you do not own or are not licensed to modify; to distribute pirated or cracked software, licence keys or media; to bypass any security or content filter; or to break any applicable law.
10.3 It is your responsibility to hold the rights needed for the material you process.
11. Data, Privacy and Security
11.1 Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy and Cookies Policy.
11.2 Card data is handled exclusively by our payment processor, Waffo Pancake, and is not stored on our servers. Account data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards, as described in the Privacy and Cookies Policy.
11.3 You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for using the Site over a secure connection.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
12.1 The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and without any warranty that an automated processing result will be accurate or complete. Always keep a backup of your original files: it is your responsibility to verify results before using or relying on them.
12.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill.
12.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing affects the statutory rights of consumers.
13. Term and Termination
13.1 These Terms apply while you use the Site. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach them, if we are required to do so by law, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
13.2 If we terminate your access for a reason that is not your breach, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period on a pro-rata basis.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of China, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
14.2 Before starting formal proceedings, please write to support@looep.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally. We will respond within 15 business days.
15. Changes to These Terms
15.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be published on this page with a new version number and effective date, and where the change is significant we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before it takes effect.
15.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy and Cookies Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
