Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective date: 16 September 2026 · Last updated: 16 September 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the content standards that apply to the Looep Tech platform at https://www.looep.com (the “Service”), operated by Wang Yongfei, trading as “Looep Tech” (“we”, “us”, “our”). It explains what you may and may not do with our AI-assisted media repair and editing tools, how we moderate content, how to report abuse, and what happens if this policy is broken.
This AUP forms part of, and must be read together with, our Terms and Conditions of Use and our Privacy and Cookies Policy. If you do not accept this AUP you must not use the Service.
1. Scope
This AUP applies to everything connected with your use of the Service, including:
- Input files: any image, video, audio, document or other media you upload to, or process with, our tools.
- Instructions and requests: any text, masks, region selections, parameters or other instructions you submit to a tool.
- Output: any file, frame, image or result produced by our tools.
- Public content: anything you publish or share through the Site, including comments, posts, profile information, forum discussions and private messages.
- Account conduct: how you obtain, use, share and secure your account and licence keys.
2. Content Standards — The Six Prohibited Categories
The following six categories of content are prohibited on the Service. They apply to any file you upload or process, any instruction you give, and any Output you create or distribute using our tools.
- Pornography / NSFW content. Sexual, pornographic, sexually explicit or fetish content, including nudity, sexual acts, or any sexualised imagery, whether real or synthetic.
- Violence / gore. Content depicting or promoting graphic violence, gore, mutilation, torture, animal cruelty, self-harm, suicide, or instructions for causing harm to people or animals.
- Hate speech. Content that promotes, glorifies or incites hatred, hostility, discrimination or violence against any person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM). Any child sexual abuse material, any sexualisation of minors, any content that endangers minors, and any attempt to generate, alter or distribute such material. This is a zero-tolerance category: such content is blocked, the account is permanently terminated, and the matter is reported to the relevant authorities and to our payment processor.
- Deepfakes / impersonation. Non-consensual deepfakes and any synthetic or manipulated media that makes a real, identifiable person appear to say or do something they did not say or do; impersonation of any person, brand or organisation; and content designed to deceive viewers about its origin, authenticity or the identity of the person in it. This includes non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Copyright and trademark infringement. Processing or distributing content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights — including removing watermarks, copyright notices, ownership metadata, rights-management information, DRM or attribution from material you do not own or are not authorised to modify; and any use of protected characters, logos, brands or footage without a licence.
3. Other Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Service to:
- 3.1 Rights you do not hold. Edit, clean, restore or de-watermark any media that you do not own or have documented permission to modify. Removing a watermark, logo, caption, rights-management notice or attribution from third-party content without authorisation is treated as intellectual property infringement.
- 3.2 Pirated or cracked software. Distribute, promote, sell or obtain cracked, pirated or unlicensed software, activation keys, licence keys or media, or use our tools to help others do so.
- 3.3 Fraud and deception. Create content intended to defraud, mislead, phish, or to be presented to others as authentic human professional work (for example fake evidence, forged documents, or fabricated news material).
- 3.4 Illegal content. Create, store, process or distribute anything unlawful in your country or ours, or that facilitates illegal activity.
- 3.5 Security and filtering. Bypass, disable, probe or interfere with our safety filters, moderation systems, quotas, rate limits, authentication or any other security control — including the use of jailbreak-style instructions or obfuscation intended to evade detection.
- 3.6 Privacy violations. Process images or videos of individuals in a way that breaches their privacy or publicity rights, or that facilitates stalking, harassment, surveillance or doxxing.
- 3.7 Commercial resale. Resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute our software, licence keys, member downloads or the Service itself without our prior written permission.
- 3.8 Account abuse. Share accounts or licence keys, use multiple accounts to circumvent limits, or access an account you do not own.
- 3.9 Misrepresentation. Market, describe or present the Service in a way that exaggerates its capabilities, implies endorsement by any AI model provider, or misrepresents our brand or theirs.
4. Your Responsibilities for the Content You Process
You are solely responsible for the material you submit and for the results you produce. This means that you must:
- hold all rights, licences and consents needed to process the file, including the consent of any person identifiable in the content;
- keep a backup of your originals, and verify any result before you rely on it or publish it;
- comply with all laws that apply to you, including copyright, trademark, privacy, defamation and consumer law; and
- label AI-processed output honestly where a reasonable viewer could otherwise be misled about whether material was generated or altered by AI, and always where the law or the platform you publish on requires disclosure.
5. How We Moderate Content
We operate a layered moderation approach:
- Automated checks at submission. Files and instructions submitted to our tools are screened by automated filters before processing, using keyword and blocklist checks, and content-safety classifiers where the format allows it. Requests matching a zero-tolerance category are blocked outright.
- Automated checks on results. Where technically possible, generated or processed output is screened before it is returned to you. We do not knowingly return output that breaches this AUP.
- Blocklist maintenance. Our keyword and prompt blocklists cover sexual and NSFW terms, child-safety related terms, copyright characters, brands and trademarks, violence, hate, self-harm, and deepfake / celebrity / political figure terms. These lists are reviewed and updated regularly — a static one-off list is not enough, so they are maintained as an ongoing operation.
- Human review. Flagged content, reported content and appeals are reviewed by a human reviewer. Reviewers are trained on content safety and handle reports confidentially.
- Logs. Moderation decisions, including automated flags and the outcome of human review, are logged and may be provided to our payment processor or to authorities where required.
We do not sell, publish or otherwise use your files for any purpose other than providing the Service. See our Privacy and Cookies Policy for retention periods.
6. Reporting a Violation
If you encounter content or behaviour that breaches this AUP, please report it to us. Reports are confidential and can be made by anyone — you do not need an account.
- Report email (all violations, including rights complaints and child-safety reports): support@looep.com
- In-account reporting: use the Report link shown on posts, comments and profiles on the Site.
- What to include: a description of the content, the URL or identifier where you saw it, the reason it breaches this AUP, and — if you are reporting on behalf of a rights holder — your relationship to the material and supporting evidence.
All reports are logged. Reporter identity is kept confidential and is not disclosed to the reported user. Knowingly false or abusive reports are recorded and may be actioned.
7. Response Times and Enforcement
| Severity | Examples | Initial response | Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Critical | Child sexual abuse material, terrorism, credible threats to life | Within 2 hours | Immediate block, permanent ban, report to authorities |
| High | Non-consensual deepfakes, serious IP infringement, deliberate circumvention of filters | Within 24 hours | Content removed, account suspended or terminated |
| Medium | Other AUP breaches, duplicate or persistent lower-level issues | Within 3 business days | Warning, content removal, feature or download restriction |
| Low | Minor or first-time issues, mislabelled content | Within 5 business days | Guidance and a request to correct |
Depending on the breach, we may take one or more of the following enforcement actions:
- Warning — written notice requiring correction, for a first minor breach.
- Content removal — removal of the offending content or download.
- Feature restriction — reduced quotas, disabled tools or suspended downloads.
- Temporary suspension — account suspended while a serious case is investigated.
- Permanent termination — loss of access without refund, for critical or repeated breaches.
- Legal action and reporting — referral to law enforcement, our payment processor, or affected rights holders where the law requires or permits it.
Where a membership is terminated for a breach of this AUP, no refund is due. We may also cooperate with requests to preserve evidence.
8. Appeals
If you believe we have made a mistake — for example a false report, or a file wrongly blocked — you can appeal within 30 days of the decision:
- Appeal contact: support@looep.com
- What to include: the decision you are appealing, the account or content affected, and your explanation or supporting evidence.
- Process: appeals are reviewed by a reviewer who was not involved in the original decision. We aim to answer within 10 business days. Where an appeal is upheld we will restore access and, where appropriate, the affected download quota.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP to reflect changes in the law, payment-network requirements or the way the Service works. The current version, with its version number and effective date, is always published on this page.
